IT is intended that this book should be used in the same class which is sufficiently advanced to read without spelling the Parables, and Miracles, and other little books in the New Testament. Only one chapter should be read each day. (It may be begun again if the class is large.) When the whole class have read it, the difficult words should be read and explained. Then the questions asked. After that, the lesson should be read again (as now the children will begin to understand it), taking care to begin in another part of the class. It may be read once or twice, as the teacher thinks best; and then, the questions and difficult words asked again till all understand. |
