Saving clause. Repeal. the same becomes payable, all amounts of interest and funded indebtedness then remaining unpaid in respect of that parcel of land shall for all purposes be deemed to be taxes in default in respect of that parcel of land, and with interest from the date of the default in payment, at the rate of eight per centum per annum, shall be recoverable under the provisions of the "Drainage, Dyking, and Development Act." 8. Nothing in this Act shall in any way affect any guarantee heretofore entered into by the Province for the payment of debentures issued by the Commissioners under the "West Nicomen Dyking District Aid Act," being chapter 100 of the Statutes of 1918. 9. This Act may be cited as the "West Vancouver Incorporation Short title. Act Amendment Act, 1925." 2. Section 2 and Schedule B of the "West Vancouver Incorpora- Amends s. 2. tion Act Amendment Act, 1920," being chapter 104 of the Statutes of 1920, are repealed, and the lien or charge therein referred to is released. 3. Notwithstanding anything to the contrary contained in the Sinking fund. by-law, the moneys required for interest and sinking fund for "The West Capilano District Loan Improvement By-law, 1911," debentures shall hereafter be levied and raised in each year by the Council of the Corporation of the District of West Vancouver by a special rate or tax from and out of all taxable lands within the said District of West Vancouver according to the assessed value, which special rate or tax shall be payable along with and in addition to and as forming part of the annual taxes payable for and out of the said lands. 4. R.S.B.C. 1924, H' [Assented to 19th December, 1925.] IS MAJESTY, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of the Province of British Columbia, enacts as follows: c. 278. 1. This Act may be cited as the "Workmen's Compensation Act Short title. Amendment Act, 1925." 2. Section 7 of the "Workmen's Compensation Act," being chapter Amends s. 7. 278 of the "Revised Statutes of British Columbia, 1924," is amended by adding to subsection (2) the words "Provided that where the disability is of more than fourteen days' duration compensation shall be payable from the date of disability." 3. Section 16 of said chapter 278 is amended as follows:— (2.) By adding to subsection (2) the following clause:- Amends s. 16. Commencement. as if she were the widow of the deceased; and in such case the children's part of such payments shall be in lieu of the monthly payments which they otherwise would have been entitled to receive." 4.
