HOLLOWAY'S OINTMENT.-Changeable

Weather. The proverbial fickleness of the English climate sadly disturbs the state of the public health. Affec ions of the throat and chest are found in every household, for which the readiest means of cure are Holloway's renowned remedies. They prevent congestion, inflammation, ulceration, bronchitis, hoarseness, and cough. This soothing ointment only requires to be well rubbed twice a day over the throat and chest, previously fomented with tepid salt and water, and diligently dried, to effect an immediate and marked improvement in all the symptoms of disease, and quickly hereafter to produce a radical cure. Both Ointment and Pills are devoid of danger, being compounds of the finest balsams, intimately allied by nature, and accurately combined by art.

HOUSE WITHOUT MONEY.

BIRKBECK BUILDING SOCIETY,

99 AND 30, SOUTHAMPTON-BUILDINGS,

CHANCERY-LANE, LONDON.

MOST THREE YEARS' SYSTEN

OST PERSONS ARE FAMILIAR with

of the Pianoforte Makers, by which anyone who Hires an Instrument and pays the Hire for that period, becomes the ABSOLUTE OWNER OF THE PIANOFORTE. Pr viously to the introduction of this plan it was almost a difficult for those of limited income to buy a good Pianoforte as to BUY A HOUSE; and persons went on year after year, paying for the Hire of an Instrument, and expended as much money as would have bought the Piaforte several times over.

What will hold good for Pianofortes will hold gead for HOUSES; and there are many who would no doubt AVAIL THEMSELVES OF THE OPPORTUNITY, if it was afforded them, of becoming

THE OWNER OF A HOUSE

in the same way as they have already become the owner of their pianoforte. THE DIRECTORS

OF THE

BIRKBECK BUILDING SOCIETY

HAVE DETERMINED TO AFFORD

THE SAME FACILITIES FOR PURCHASING

HOUSES

As now exist for Buying Pianofortes.

A HOUSE being, however, a more expensive article to Par chase than a Pianoforte, the "Three Years' System will not apply, excepting in a very few cases: so that & MORE LENGTHENED PERIOD IS NECESSARY over which the time of Hiring must extend.

In pursuance of this resolution THE DIRECTORS HAVE MADE ARRANGEMENTS

OLLOWAY'S OINTMENT and PILLS.

Ho -UNWHOLESOME CHANGES.-The changeable

weather is causing much sickness, and exerting the most powerful influence in deranging the secretions of the body. Alternating chills and heats so derange the capillary circulation that the liver, stomach, or lungs must become disordered. Holloway's Ointment, well rubbed over these parts twice a day, proves the quickest, safest, and best corrective. It penetrates the skin, enters the deeper structures, purifies their blood, rouses torpid organs to more active exertion, cleanses their substance, equalises their circulation, and renders their secretions abundant, without annoying. irritating, or in any way depressing, much less exhausting, the vital forces.
