An Act to Amend the Brands Act, 1913.

[Assented to, December 6th, 1923.] E it Enacted by the Governor of the State of South Australia, with the advice and consent of the Parliament thereof, as

follows:

1. (1) This Act may be cited as the "Brands Act Amendment Short titles. Act, 1923."

(2) The Brands Act, 1913 (hereinafter called "the principal Act"), and this Act may be cited together as the "Brands Acts, 1913 and 1923."

2. This Act is incorporated with the principal Act, and that Act Incorporation. and this Act shall be read as one Act.

3. Notwithstanding anything contained in the principal Act the Power to appoint Governor may appoint any person other than the Chief Inspector Registrar of Brands. of Stock under "The Stock Diseases Act, 1888," to be the Registrar

of Brands, and upon the making of any such appointment the said Chief Inspector of Stock shall cease to be Registrar of Brands.
