3 Oh wash my soul from every sin,

And make my guilty conscience clean;
Hore on my heart i he burden lies,
And past offences , ain mine eyes,
4 My lips with shame my sins confess,

Against thy law, against thy grace;
Lord, should thy judgment grow severe,

I am condemn'd, but thou art clear. 5 Should sudden vengeance scize my breath,

I must pronounce thee just in death;
And if my soul were sent to hell,

Thy righteous law approves it well. 6 Yet save a trembling sinner, Lord,

Whose hope, still hov'ring round thy word, Would light on some sweet promise there, Some sure support ugainst despair.

Call to Sinners.
SINNER, O why so thoughtless grown?

Why in such dreadful hasto lo die?
Daring to loap to worlds unknown,

Heedless against thy God to fly! 2 Wilt thou despise eternal love,

Urgʻd on by sin's fantastic dreams: Madly attempt th’ infernal gate,

And force thy passage to the flames?

Parting.
For a season call'd to part,

Let us now ourselyes commend
To the gracious oya and heart

Of our ever-present Friend. 2 Jesus, hear our humble prayer;

Tender Shepherd of thy sheep, Let thy mercy, and thy care,

All our souls in safety keep. 3 What we each have now been taught,

Let our memories retain; May we, if we live, be brought

Hore to meet in peace again. 4 Then, if thou instruction bless,

Songs of praises shall be given; We'll our thankfulness express,

Here on earth and when in heaven.

BLEST be the dear aniting love

That will not let us part:
Our bodies may far off remove,

We still are one in heart.

2 Join'd in one spirit to our Head,

Where he appoints we go;
And still in Jesus' footsteps tread,

And show his praise below. 3 Oh, may we ever walk in him,

And nothing know besido; Nothing desire, nothing esteem,

But Jesus crucified. 4 Partakers of the Saviour's grace,

The same in mind and heart; Nor joy, nor grief, nor time nor place,

Nor life, ncr death can part.
