CHAPTER 91 An Act to confirm Certain Assessments and Taxation for the Purposes of The Queensview School District No. 2334 of Saskatchewan. W [Assented to February 4, 1920.] HEREAS in the year 1913 an application was made Preamble to the council of the rural municipality of Tramping Lake No. 380 to alter the boundaries of The Queensview School District No. 2334 of Saskatchewan by including therein sections 1, 12 and 13 of township 37, in range 22, west of the third meridian; and Whereas, at a meeting of the said council held on the third day of April, 1913, it was resolved that the boundaries of the said school district should be altered by including the above mentioned sections therein; and Whereas, through an oversight the council omitted to notify the minister of education of its decision that the proposed alteration was desirable until the first day of February, 1919, and in consequence no order altering the boundaries of the said school district was made until the twentieth day of February, 1919; and Whereas, the rural municipality of Tramping Lake No. 380 has assessed and taxed the lands contained in the said sections 1, 12 and 13 for the purposes of The Queensview School District No. 2334 during the years 1913 to 1919 inclusive, and it is desirable to confirm and validate the action of the said rural municipality in so doing: Now, therefore, His Majesty, by and with the advice. and consent of the Legislative Assembly of Saskatchewan, enacts as follows: of assessments 1. Sections 1, 12 and 13 of township 37, in range 22, Confirmation west of the third meridian are hereby declared to have and taxation formed part of The Queensview School District No. 2334 of Saskatchewan since the third day of April, 1913, and all assessments made and taxes levied by the rural municipality of Tramping Lake No. 380 for the purposes of the said school district upon the lands contained in the said sections, during the years 1913 to 1919 inclusive, are hereby ratified and confirmed and declared to have been properly made and levied, and tax sales and other proceedings founded thereupon to be and to have been legal and valid. |
