An Act to amend the Dentists Acts, 1902 to 1918.

[Assented to, December 7th, 1921.]

E it Enacted by the Governor of the State of South Australia, with the advice and consent of the Parliament thereof, as follows:

1. (1) This Act may be cited alone as the "Dentists Act Further Short titles. Amendment Act, 1921."

(2) The Dentists Acts, 1902 to 1918, and this Act may be cited together as the "Dentists Acts, 1902 to 1921."

2. This Act is incorporated with the other Acts mentioned in Incorporation with section 1 of this Act, and those Acts and this Act shall be read as one Act.

3. (1) Notwithstanding anything contained in the Dentists Act Further Amendment Act, 1917, if any person who is otherwise qualified to be registered in pursuance of section 5 of the said Act has, on account of illness or other cause deemed sufficient by the Dental Board of South Australia, neither presented himself three times for the practical examination referred to in the said section 5 nor passed the said examination, such person may present himself for such practical examination within six months from the passing of this Act.

(2) If such person passes such practical examination he may be registered under section 5 of the Dentists Act Further Amendment Act, 1917, but if he fails to pass such practical examination he shall not be entitled to be so registered.

(3) Such person shall present himself for examination at such time and place as are appointed by the examiners and notified to such person.

(4) Any such person as is referred to in subsection (1) hereof who, prior to the coming into operation of the Dentists Act Further Amendment Act, 1917, had been employed as mentioned in section 5 of the said Act for the period therein mentioned, and who, at the time of the passing of the said Act, was engaged in the practice of dentistry in South Australia on his own account, shall be entitled to continue or carry on such practice until the holding of the practical examination provided for under subsection (1) hereof.

An Act to amend the Industrial Code, 1920, for the purpose of Enabling a more frequent Review of the Living Wage.

[Assented to, December 7th, 1921.]

E it Enacted by the Governor of the State of South Australia, with the advice and consent of the Parliament thereof, as

follows:

1. (1) This Act may be cited alone as the "Industrial Code Short titles. Amendment Act, 1921."

(2) The Industrial Code, 1920 (hereinafter referred to as "the principal Act"), and this Act may be cited together as the "Industrial Acts, 1920 and 1921."

2. Section 265 of the principal Act is amended by substituting for the words "one year" in the seventh line thereof the words "six months".

Amendment of principal Act, s. 265—

Living wage may be reviewed every six months.
