THE DRAKELEY BED PAN AND DOUCHE.

The most Convenient, Cleanly and Economical Bed Pan in use.

[graphic][subsumed][subsumed]
[graphic][subsumed]

This Bed Pan and Douche consists of a soft rubber Invalid ring, in the center of which, by means of a double flange, a metal basin is firmly secured. This basin is provided with an outlet of sufficient size to allow the free passage of all fluid discharges, and when used as a vaginal douche an unlimited quantity of liquid may be used at one injection.

The extra pan shown in above cut is used to receive the contents of the rectum, and after use this pan with its contents may easily be removed and cleaned. This latter feature particularly adapts the Drakeley bed pan to hospital use, for by purchasing several extra pans a single outfit may be made to serve the wants of a large number of patients, as the extra pans as fast as used may be placed in covered buckets and all removed and cleaned at once.

The soft rubber cushion affords a comfortable support for the patient, and all danger of soiling either the bedding or clothing is avoided.

PRICE TO PATIENTS

IMPORTANT NOTICE.

By reason of an improved method of caption, by which dilution is avoided, FRIEDRICHSHALL WATER will be found now to be of considerably greater strength and efficacy than heretofore.

The ordinary dose is a large wineglassful (4 ounces). Most efficacious when taken fasting and mixed with an equal quantity of hot water.

"I know nothing at all equal to Friedrichshall. The LONGER it is taken the SMALLER is the quantity necessary to effect the purpose."
