THE NATIONAL HEALTH INSURANCE (JOINT COMMITTEE) REGU-
LATIONS, 1936,* DATED JANUARY 30, 1936, MADE BY THE
NATIONAL HEALTH
HEALTH INSURANCE JOINT COMMITTEE UNDER
SECTION 88 OF THE NATIONAL HEALTH INSURANCE ACT, 1924
(14 & 15 GEO. 5. c. 38).

The National Health Insurance Joint Committee in exercise of the powers conferred on them by section 88 of the National Health Insurance Act, 1924, and of all other powers enabling them in that behalf, hereby make the following regulations :

1. These regulations may be cited as the National Health Insurance (Joint Committee) Regulations, 1936, and shall be read as one with the National Health Insurance (Joint Committee) Consolidated Regulations, 1931. (a)

2. In these regulations "the Act of 1935," means the National Health Insurance and Contributory Pensions Act, 1935, (b) and, so far as Northern Ireland is concerned, that Act as applied to Northern Ireland.

3.-(1) For the purposes of the provisions of the Act of 1935 specified in the first column of the First Schedule to these regulations, the Joint Committee alone shall exercise the powers specified in the third column of the said schedule, and set opposite to the provisions to which they respectively relate.

(2) For the purposes of the provisions of the Act of 1935 specified in the first column of the Second Schedule to these regulations, the Joint Committee shall exercise jointly with the Minister the powers specified in the third column of the said schedule and set opposite to the provisions to which they respectively relate.
