And when they were come out, they went into the swine: and, lo, the whole herd ran violently down a precipice into the sea, and perished in the waters. 33 And the herdsmen fled, and went away into the city, and reported all this; and what had happened to the demoniacs. 34 And, lo, the whole city came out to meet Jesus; and having seen him, they besought him to depart out of their territory.

CH. IX. 1 AND having gone into [the] ship, he passed over, and came to his own city. 2 And, lo, there was brought to

X. 1 AND having called to him his twelve disciples, he gave them power over impure spirits, to cast them out, and to cure every disease and every malady. 2 Now these are the names of the twelve apostles: First, Simon who is called Peter, and Andrew his brother; James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother; Philip and Bartholomew; Thomas, and Matthew the publican; James the son of Alpheus, and Lebbeus surnamed Thaddeus ;] 4 Simon the Canaanite, and Judas Iscariot, who also delivered him up.
