Out of the General Revenue of the said Province there shall Issue and application be issued and applied, from time to time, for the service of the three of £200,000. months ending the thirtieth day of September, one thousand eight hundred and seventy-six, any sums of money, not exceeding in the whole the sum of Two Hundred Thousand Pounds: Provided that no payments for any establishment or service be made in excess of the rates voted for similar establishments or services on the Estimates for the year ended the thirtieth day of June, one thousand eight hundred and seventy-six, except so far as such rates are modified by the "Civil Service Act, 1874."
