A.—This column shows the amount actually received within the calendar year, excluding all remissions allowed in the purchase of land.

B. This column shows the extent to which credit has been claimed within the year, by parties purchasing land under certificates of deposits granted by the Colonial Land and Emigration
Commissioners.
C.-Includes leases, licenses, quit rents, fees, &c.

D.--The amount stated in this column is exclusive of all sums not constituting real revenue, such as sums received for remittance to England, repayment of loans, sums raised by deben-
tures, balances received from public officers on account of advances previously made to them, and sums received for supplies furnished to other colonies.
E.-In like manner, the amount shown in this column is exclusive of all sums not constituting real expenditure, such as advances to public officers on account, loans to other colonies, and
remittances to England of sums received in the colony.
