nied by a minority report signed by Mr. Burns. The employees concerned accepted the award of the majority of the board, but the company declined to do so. Mining operations were continued until Feb. 18, when the alleged dismissal by the company of one of the union officials brought the existing dissatisfaction to a head and a strike was declared which had not been terminated at the end of the fiscal year.]
