AN ACT to authorise the Establishment and
Maintenance of a State Hotel at Dwellingup.

BE

[Assented to 31st December, 1911.]

E it enacted by the King's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

1. This Act may be cited as the Dwellingup State Hotel Act, Short title.

1911.

2. Notwithstanding anything contained in the Licensing Act, 1911, to the contrary, it shall be lawful for the Colonial Treasurer.

(a.) to establish a State Hotel at Dwellingup. in the Forrest
Licensing District; and

(b.) to carry on by his authorised agent, in such State Hotel.
the trade and business of a person holding a publican's
general license.

AN ACT to validate certain Rates made by the
Council of the Municipality of Collie and the
Collie Local Board of Health, for the year
ending the thirty-first day of October, 1910.

BE

[Assented to 31st December, 1911.]

E it enacted by the King's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

1. The general rate and the health rate, struck or purporting to Validation of rates. have been struck by the Council of the Municipality of Collie, and the Collie Local Board of Health, respectively, for the year ending the thirty-first day of October, one thousand nine hundred and ten, shall be deemed to have been lawfully struck; and all things necessary to be done in and towards the striking of such rates shall be deemed to have been duly performed, notwithstanding any failure to comply with any of the provisions of the Municipal Corporations Act, 1906, or the Health Act, 1898, relating thereto; and the said rates may be recovered accordingly, as if the provisions of the said Acts had been in all respects complied with.

AN ACT to impose a Land Tax and an Income

Tax.

[Assented to 31st December, 1911.]

MOST GRACIOUS SOVEREIGN,

WE,

E, Your Majesty's most dutiful and loyal subjects, the Preamble. Legislative Assembly of Western Australia in Parliament. assembled, towards raising the necessary supplies to defray Your Majesty's public expenses, and making an addition to the public revenue, have freely and voluntarily resolved to give and grant unto Your Majesty the duties hereinafter mentioned, and do therefore most humbly beseech Your Majesty that it may be enacted: And be it therefore enacted by the King's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

1. This Act may be cited as the Land Tax and Income Tax Short title. Act, 1911.

2. For the year ending the thirtieth day of June, one thousand Grant of Land Tax nine hundred and twelve. there shall be charged, levied, collected, and Income Tax. and paid. for the use of His Majesty, under and subject to the
