RULE XXV.-Rehearing-Notice of Inten- [ petition and if this notice is not given within tion to File Petition for-Opinions-When to be Published.-Opinions shall not be given out by the clerk for publication in the Advance Sheets, Kentucky Reports, or the Southwestern Reporter, except as hereinafter provided; but he will send them as he now does to the lawyers in the case.

Parties, or their attorneys, who desire to file a petition for rehearing or for the modification or extension of an opinion, shall, within fifteen days (Sundays included) after the case is decided, file with the clerk of this court a notice that it is desired to file such a

the time named no such petition shall thereafter be permitted to be filed, and upon the expiration of the fifteen days the opinion shall be deemed to have been handed down and be then given out for publication. If notice is given, the petition may be filed within the time now allowed by rules of the court.

When the notice is given, the opinion shall not be deemed to have been handed down or be given out for publication until the petition filed has been disposed of.

In other respects the present rules to petitions for rehearing shall remain in force.
