Notwithstanding anything in this Act, every full-blooded aboriginal inhabitant of the State shall be entitled to keep two, but not more, unregistered dogs. [Assented to, November 6th, 1924.] E it Enacted by the Governor of the State of South Australia, with the advice and consent of the Parliament thereof, as follows: 1. (1) This Act may be cited as the "Early Closing Act Amend- Short titles. ment Act, 1924." (2) The Early Closing Acts, 1911 to 1923, and this Act may be No. 1062 of 1911. cited together as the "Early Closing Acts, 1911 to 1924." (3) The Early Closing Act, 1911, is hereinafter called "the principal Act." No. 1104 of 1912. 2. This Act is incorporated with the Early Closing Acts, 1911 Incorporation. to 1923, and those Acts and this Act shall be read as one Act. 3. Section 34 of the principal Act is amended (a) by striking out the words "three months" in the fifth line (twice (b) by striking out the words "twenty-one days 1616 4. Section 37 of the principal Act (as amended by section 13 of principal Act, s. 37- the Early Closing Act Amendment Act, 1923) is further amended i adding at the end thereof the following subsection: Closing time for butchers' shops in Metropolitan Area. by (3) With respect to butchers' shops within the Metropolitan Shopping District subsection (1) of this section shall be read as if the words "six o'clock" were substituted for the words "nine o'clock" in paragraph (a) thereof. 5. Section 38 of the principal Act (as amended by section 14 of i the Early Closing Act Amendment Act, 1923) is further amended ' by adding at the end thereof the following subsection: . (3) With respect to butchers' shops within the Metropolitan Shopping District subsection (1) hereof shall be read as if the words "six o'clock" were substituted for the words “nine o'clock" in paragraph 1v. thereof, and every reference in the ! said subsection to section 37 shall be deemed a reference to that section as construed with respect to butchers' shops within ¦ the Metropolitan Shopping District. 6. The First Schedule to the principal Act is amended by striking out line (9) thereof and inserting in lieu of that line the following:(9) Book shops, newsvendors' shops, and book-stalls. 7.
