AN ACT to appropriate and apply out of the Consolidated Revenue Fund and from Moneys to Credit of the Trust Fund and the General Loan Fund and from the Public Account certain sums to make good the supplies granted for the Service of the Year ending the thirtieth day of June, One thousand nine hundred and twentyeight, and to supplement grants made by the present Parliament during its last Session in adjustment of the Vote "Advance to Treasurer, 1926-27," for charges during the Year ended the 30th day of June, 1927.

E, Your Majesty's Most Dutiful and Loyal Subjects, the Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in Parliament assembled, towards making good the supply which we have cheerfully granted Your Majesty in this Session of Parliament, have resolved to grant unto Your Majesty the Sums hereinafter mentioned, and do therefore most humbly beseech Your Majesty that it may be enacted: And be it therefore enacted by the King's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows (that is to say) :

1. This Act may be cited as the Appropriation Act, 1927-28.

2. There shall and may be issued and applied, for or Application of towards making good the supply granted to His Majesty for the services of the year ending the thirtieth day of June, One thousand nine hundred and twenty-eight, the following sums, that is to say:

From the Consolidated Revenue Fund the sum of Four Million Two Hundred and Four Thousand and Eightynine Pounds.

From moneys to credit of the Trust Fund, the sum of One Hundred and Seventeen Thousand One Hundred and Eleven Pounds.

From moneys to credit of the General Loan Fund, the sum of Three Million Two Hundred and Four Thousand Four Hundred and Nine Pounds.

From the Public Account for Advance to Treasurer

the sum of Two Hundred Thousand Pounds.

3. (1) All sums granted by this Act, and the Acts Appropriation of mentioned in Schedule A to this Act, towards making good supplies. the Supply granted to His Majesty, that is to say:

From the Consolidated Revenue Fund the sum of Six Million Three Hundred and Fifty-four Thousand and Eighty-nine Pounds.

From moneys to credit of the Trust Fund the sum of One Hundred and Fifty Thousand One Hundred and Eleven Pounds.

From moneys to credit of the General Loan Fund the sum of Four Million Eight Hundred and Twenty-nine Thousand Four Hundred and Nine Pounds.

From the Public Account for Advance to Treasurer the sum of Five Hundred Thousand Pounds, and

(2) All sums granted by this Act to supplement grants Advance to in confirmation of the expenditure from the vote, "Advance to Treasurer, 1926-27," for charges during the year ended the 30th day of June, 1927, that is to say:

From the Consolidated Revenue Fund the sum of Two Hundred and Ninety-nine Thousand Four Hundred and Thirty-two Pounds Five Shillings and Twopence,

From the General Loan Fund the sum of One Hundred and Eighty-three Thousand and Ninety-eight Pounds Seventeen Shillings,

From the Trust Fund, the sum of Nine Thousand Four Hundred and Ninety-six Pounds Six Shillings and One Penny,

appropriated for the purposes and services expressed in Schedules B, C, D, E, F, G, and H.

ADVANCE TO TREASURER.

e issued, if and when required, from the Public Account, to enable the Treasurer advances to public officers, also advances for the Trading Concerns, and to sons, or for payments of deposits on Contracts, or on account of other GovernAlso to pay expenses of an unforeseen nature, chargeable against the ConRevenue Fund, or the General Loan Fund, or the Sale of Government Property count, or the Lands Improvement Loan Fund; such disbursements to be transnthly to the respective Votes and Services, and to be shown as excesses thereon ✓ items. The appropriation may also include expenditure in excess of the s of any Loan Act pending statutory authority for the raising of such moneys, appropriation may also include expenditure on works and services pending being made in a Loan Act, and such expenditure, to be charged to Loan Suscount, to be subsequently submitted to Parliament for specific appropriation. e amount to be adjusted subject as hereinafter provided, not later than 30th 9: Provided that expenditure incurred in relaying Perth Electric Tramways and g Government Railways may be adjusted over a period of five years-£500,000.
