It is a System yet in its infancy, which is calculated as it advances to maturity, to exercise a great influence on the morals and social condition of the people of this country; and the present Pamphlet is put forth chiefly to assist the writer in answering the numerous questions which are daily put to him on the subject. It has been aptly and beautifully remarked by one of the most acute observers of the present day, that "Ireland is now suffering under a circle of evils, producing and reproducing one another.. Want of capital produces want of employmentwant of employment, turbulence and misery-turbulence and misery, insecurity-insecurity prevents the introduction of capital-and so on.
