The danger arising from the consumption of decayed fruit, in the case of young children, is a serious one, owing to the tendency it has to cause diarrhoea. CORN, BREAD, and Flour. The question of the wholesomeness of corn, bread, or flour, is one which must be decided by the Medical Officer of Health or analyst, but it is an inspector's duty to submit samples of any of these articles should he have reason to suspect that they are unsound or unwholesome, APPENDIX.
