In accordance with a law passed May 1, 1852, providing for the erection of a State Prison: Sealed proposals will be received at the office of the Superintendent of Public Buildings, until the 18th of September next, at 12 o'clock, for furnishing the materials and completion of the work in accordance with the plans and specifications, to be seen at his office, at the city of Vallejo. Each bid to be accompanied with the names of the securities, signed by themselves and binding themselves, as such, in the event the bid is accepted. The Commissioners reserve the right of rejecting all bids, but any bid accepted, lowest responsible bidder.
