There be three things which are too wonderful for me, yea, four which I know not: The way of an eagle in the air, the way of a serpent upon a rock, the way of a ship in the midst of the sea, and the way of a man with a maid. I thank my God, I speak with tongues more than ye all: Yet in the church I had rather speak five words with my understanding, that by my voice I might teach others also, than ten thousand words in an unknown tongue. How is it then, brethren? when yo come together, every one of you. hath a psalm, hath a doctrine, hath a tongue, hath a revelation, hath an interpretation. Let all 1 Cor. xiv, 2, 5, 6, 9, 13, 14, 16-19, 26-28, 39. For he that speaketh in an unknown tongue speaketh not things be done unto edifying.
