All cargo to be brought to, and taken from alongside, the Vessel at Merchant's risk and expense, free of lighterage, if any, to the vessel.

Charterers are to do the Steamers business and clear the Ship at the ports of loading, for which service
and to cover advertising, tallying, receiving, measuring and berthing charges, the Owners shall pay them a
lump sum of
Guineas at each port of loading.

No passengers are to be carried thoughout the voyage except with the consent of the Charterers or their

Agents.
All sums earned from Derelicts or Salvage of any kind to be for the joint benefit of Owners and Charterers
in equal shares.

The vessel to be consigned to Charterers' Agents, inwards and outwards, at port of discharge, paying them
Guineas for doing Ship's business inwards, and 2 per cent. for the outward business; if loaded at the
port of discharge.

An Address Commission of 21 per cent. on the amount of Freight under this Charter is due to the
Charterers and is to be deducted from first payment of Freight.

A Brokerage of 5 per cent. on amount of Freight and Demurrage is due on signing this Charter to Messrs.

The Act of God, Perils of the Sea, Fire, Barratry of the Master and Crew, Enemies, Pirates and Robbers, Arrests and
Restraints of Princes, Rulers, and People, Strandings and Collisions, and other Accidents of Navigation, and all
Losses and Damages caused thereby are excepted, even when occasioned by negligence, default, or error in judgment of
the Pilot, Master, Mariners, or other servants of the Shipowners, but nothing herein contained shall exempt the Shipowner
from liability to pay for damage to Cargo occasioned by bad stowage, by improper or insufficient dunnage or ventilation,
or by improper opening of valves, sluices or ports or by causes other than those above excepted, and all the above exceptions
are conditional on the Vessel being seaworthy when she sails on the voyage, but any latent defects in the machinery shall
ot be considered unseaworthiness provided the same do not result from want of due diligence of the Owners, or any of

them, or by the Ship's Husband or Manager. The Steamer has liberty to call at any port or ports on the way for Coal, to sail without Pilots, to tow and be towed and assist Vessels in all situations.

The Eastern Trade form of Bill of Lading to be used and the conditions to form part of this Charter-Party.
The Captain to sign clean Bills of Lading at any rate of Freight required by the Charterers, without prejudice
to this Charter-Party, but at not less than the average chartered rate, unless the difference is paid in Cash at the
exchange for Bank sight bills on London.

The Freight to be paid on the unloading and right delivery of the Cargo in Cash without discount at Port of
discharge, if in UNITED KINGDOM, but if on the CONTINENT at Charterers' option by Cash or Bills at the
current rate of exchange for Short Bills on London.

The Steamer to discharge always afloat in any safe Dock, Wharf, Quay or Basin the Charterers or their
Agents may appoint.

Working days according to the custom of the Port of loading are to be allowed the said Merchants
