Morning Devotion.

On awaking, raise your mind to God, and bless him for all his gifts to you. For this purpose make the sign of the cross, and

say:

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. Amen. 50 d. ap.

These figures, &c., denote Indulgences; thus, 50 d. ap., means 50 days' Indulgence, applicable to the souls in Purgatory. We intend marking each indulgenced prayer in this way; pl. means plenary.

Blessed be God. Blessed be the holy and undivided Trinity, now and for ever. Amen.

During the time of dressing, say some ejaculatory prayers, especially those Indulgenced: we give a selection.

INDULGENCED EJACULATORY PRAYERS.

300. d. each

The duty of Morning Prayers is of an importance, in a spiritual life, which can scarcely be exaggerated. Like a good morning meal, it will carry the soul easily through the duties of the day.

Make the sign of the Cross, saying:-In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. Amen.

Blessed be the holy and undivided Trinity, now and for ever. Amen,
