This Much I KnowXulon Press, 2007 - 140 pages Lee, with her husband Richard, recently moved to Brightwood Virginia, but spent the greater portion of her life in Connecticut where she was a stay at home mom to children Rick, Tara and Brett. She was active in church ministry, serving in [ ] teas, bible studies, [women's] retreats and the mentoring programs for younger believers. She received her formal education at the Mary Burnham preparatory school [and Emory and Oklahoma universities] where she studied journalism. To date she has published several devotionals and had a short story chosen for possible inclusion in a future Christmas anthology. Two obscure but interesting facts about Lee are her third cousins were the Wright brothers and her mother starred in western films with Tex Ritter. In the Old Testament ordinary people heard the voice of God and saw Him move on their behalf in a myriad of personal ways. Does that God still exist today? Can you know that He is alive and concerned about the issues in your life? Can you really know Him experientially as they did? In this book 20 plus Christian women just like you and I share their true stories with candor and depth. In them you'll find yourself, your own struggles, joys and ultimate victories without easy grace, pat answers and slippery compromise. The roads they've walked we all travel; but they've found they no longer walk them alone. God was there for them in the difficult moments and so He will be there for us also. Read and be encouraged and inspired as you learn more about our Lord - the one who desires you grow to know Him more intimately and personally, first here in this life and then throughout eternity. |
