Two licenses are necessary to authorize a person to keep a public house, and sell ale and spirituous liquors—1st. A magistrate's license under stat. 48 Geo. 3. c. 143. and 2dly. An excise license. See Burn's J. 1 v. 55, 6.

ALIENS.

ALIENS neglecting after proclamation to depart the realm, to be committed to the common gaol, by one justice. 56 Geo. 3, c. 86, s. 1.
