Thirteen years have elapsed since the publication of the last edition of this work, and during that considerable interval of time many important Statutes have been passed, Rules issued, and Decisions given, affecting the procedure, jurisdiction, and duties of justices sitting in petty sessions. In the present edition the statute law has been brought down to the end of the session 55 & 56 of the Queen, and the judicial decisions to September, 1892, are also included. W. H. M.
