JOINT RESOLUTION FOR THE RELIEF OF W. C. PARKE. Approved, May 25th, 1853. Whereas, in enforcing the quarantine of the ship Charles Mallory and her passengers, in accordance with the instructions of His Majesty's Privy Council, Mr. W. C. Parke, the Marshal of the Kingdom, has incurred heavy expense, to meet which no appropriation has been made: Therefore: Be it enacted by the King, the Nobles and the Representatives of the Hawaiian Islands, in Legislative Council assembled: That the Minister of Finance be, and he hereby is empowered and instructed, to pay out of any monies that may be in the Treasury, to the order of W. C. Parke, the sum of one thousand five hundred dollars. JOINT RESOLUTION. Approved, Nov. 2d, 1853.
