People, who have Robbed GOD in His Tythes and Offerings: 0 Thou who did' ft open the Eyes of the Blind, open the Eyes of this People, and fmite, Lord, their Hearts, they that may See and Confider their Horrid Sacrilege, and Repent and Return; And that Thou Thon mayst Pardon all that is Paft, all their Neglect of Paying their Tythe Hitherto, all Mine, O God, who fmite upon my Breaft this Day, and, turning my felf, I mourn for this great Offence; and Blefs Thy Name, with the Utmoft Powers of my Soul, That Thon haft Gracionfly and Wonderfully bad Mercy on me, and now, tho Late, haft fhewn to me Thy Glory and Thy Truth, O Preferve and Blefs me in it; And bring more and more into it, even this whole People; That this their Bread for Hos. ix. 4their Soul may never Hereafter cease to come into the House of the Lord; that ther may be Meat in Mal.iij. 10, Thine Houfe; and that Thou may'ft open the Windows of Hear ven, and Pour us out a Blessing, till ther shall not be Room enough. to receive it, That thon may'ft ReS buks buke the Deftroyer for our fakes, that he may not Deftroy the Fruits of our Ground, nor our Corn caft her Fruit before the time, in the Field; That all Nations may call us Blessed, That we may be a Delightfome Land, unto the Lord of Hofts. 12.
