THE INFLUENCE

OF

BRAIN POWER ON HISTORY

BY

SIR NORMAN LOCKYER, K.C.B., LL.D., F.R.S.,

President of the British Association for the Advancement of Science

New England Education League,

International Education Conference

BOSTON :

W. SOMERVILLE STATION, MASS.

1904

This address of Sir Norman Lockyer is regarded as the most important recent presentation of the claims of popular education and of research in connection with education. It was designed for the British public but will doubtless prove suggestive and valuable also in this country. In its publication the New England Education League and the International Education Conference gratefully acknowledge the cooperation of the following: Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Boston University, Simmons College, Wellesley College, Massachusetts Agricultural College, and Brown University.

Boston, Mass. January 17, 1904.
