That the chief license inspector of the Province is directed to request, by registered letter, all license holders in this Province, from and after Thursday, the tenth day of December instant, to observe the following closing hours for the sale of liquor under their respective licenses: Hotels and social clubs, seven o'clock in the evening; wholesale liquor stores and breweries, six o'clock in the evening; and further that the chief license inspector shall be instructed to ask for a written reply from each license holder to such request, and that he report to the AttorneyGeneral the nature of replies received to the same, and also from time time as to the manner in which his request is being observed upon the part of all licensees.
