Any person offending against the last preceding section shall forfeit all claims for bounty under this Act, and shall in addition be liable for each offence to a fine not exceeding fifty dollars and not less than twenty dollars, and, in default of immediate payment, to imprisonment for a period not exceeding three months. 7. The Lieutenant-Governor-in-Council may make regulations prescribing the manner and forms in and by which proof shall be made for the effective carrying out of the provisions of this Act. 8. Chapter 207 of the Revised Statutes of Manitoba, 1913, is hereby repealed. 9. The council of every municipality shall have the power to appoint any person being a commissioner for taking affidavits or a justice of the peace, and resident within the municipality, for the purpose of receiving applications and giving certificates under the provisions of this Act. 10.
