THE MINISTRATION OF PUBLIC BAPTISM OF INFANTS, To be used in the Church. Nevertheless (if neceffity fo require) Baptifm may be adminiftered upon any other day. ¶There fhall be for every Male Child to be baptized, when they can be bad, two Godfathers and one Godmother; and for every Female, one Godfather and two Godmothers; and Parents fhall be admitted as Sponfors, if it be defired. When there are Children to be baptized, the Parents or Spon"fors fhall give knowledge thereof, before the beginning of Morning Prayer, to the Minifter.
