hundred and six the sum of Seven hundred and five thousand one hundred and thirty-nine pounds out of the Consolidated Revenue and the Treasurer of Victoria is hereby authorized and empowered to issue and apply the moneys authorized to be issued and applied.

2. The said sum shall be available to satisfy the warrants under the hand of the Governor under the provisions of the law now in force in respect of any services voted by the Legislative Assembly in this present Session of Parliament.

An Act to further amend the Audit Act 1890.

E it enacted by the King's Most Excellent Majesty by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and the Legislative Assembly of Victoria in this present Parliament assembled and by the authority of the same as follows (that is to say):

Short title and

1. This Act may be cited as the Audit Act 1905 and shall be read and construed as one with the Audit Act 1890, and the said Act construction. and any Acts amending the same and this Act may be cited together as the Audit Acts.

2. In section thirty-three of the Audit Act 1890 for the word Shortening of time August" there shall be substituted the word "July."

An Act to reduce for One Year the Municipal
Endowment.

E it enacted by the King's Most Excellent Majesty by and with
the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and the
Legislative Assembly of Victoria in this present Parliament assembled
and by the authority of the same as follows (that is to say) :-

1. This Act may be cited as the Municipal Endowment Reduction Short title and Act 1905, and shall be deemed and taken to have come into operation commencement. on the first day of July One thousand nine hundred and five.

2. Notwithstanding anything contained in the Municipal Endowment Reduction Act 1895 the sum payable out of the consolidated revenue for the endowment of municipalities shall for the year ending the last day of June One thousand nine hundred and six be Fifty thousand pounds (which sum may if the Treasurer thinks fit be paid during the half-year ending on the last day of December One thousand nine hundred and tive) instead of the rate provided in sections

eighty-one and eighty-two of the Local Government Act 1891 as amended by the Municipal Endowment Reduction Act 1895; and subject to this section the rate of endowment payable to any municipality shall be reduced accordingly. Provided that no portion of the said endowment shall be paid to any city or town or to any shire in the first class or to any municipality proclaimed a borough after the first day of January One thousand nine hundred and five.
