E Your Majesty's most dutiful and loyal subjects the Legislative Preamble.
Assembly of Victoria in Parliament assembled towards making
good the supply which we have cheerfully granted to Your Majesty in
Session of Parliament have resolved to grant unto Your Majesty
sum hereinafter mentioned and do therefore most humbly beseech
Your Majesty that it may be enacted. And be it enacted by the
King's Most Excellent Majesty by and with the advice and consent
the Legislative Council and the Legislative Assembly of Victoria
this present Parliament assembled and by the authority of the
same as follows (that is to say) :-

Act relating to the Licensing of Boats Let out for Hire.

E it enacted by the King's Most Excellent Majesty by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and the Legislative Assembly of Victoria in this present Parliament assembled and by the authority of the same as follows (that is to say) :

1. This Act may be cited as the Marine Act 1905 and shall be Short title and read and construed as one with the Marine Acts.

2. In sections two four five and six of the Marine Act 1896 after the words "plying for hire" wherever occurring there shall be inserted the words "or let out for hire or valuable consideration"; and in section six of the said Act after the words "ply for hire" there shall be inserted the words "or lets the same for hire or valuable consideration."

An Act relating to the Registration of Deeds Conveyances and other Instruments.

[29th August, 1905.]

BE E it enacted by the King's Most Excellent Majesty by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and the Legislative Assembly of Victoria in this present Parliament assembled and by the authority of the same as follows (that is to say) :—

1905.

1. This Act may be cited as the Registration of Deeds Act Short title.

2. Where for the purpose of registering any deed conveyance or other instrument in writing a memorial has, whether before or after the commencement of this Act, been delivered for registration in the office of the Supreme Court or the Registrar-General, as by the law for the time being in force provided, such deed conveyance or other instrument shall not be deemed to have been or to be imperfectly or incompletely registered by reason only that after such memorial has been duly signed corrections necessary to make the same agree with the deed conveyance or instrument may have been made or particulars required for the registration may have been filled in before the verification thereof.
