AN ACT to apply out of the Consolidated Revenue Fund the sum of Eight Hundred and Twenty-eight Thousand Two Hundred and Twenty Pounds, and from Moneys to Credit of the General Loan Fund Six Hundred and Eight Thousand Four Hundred and Thirty Pounds, and from Moneys to Credit of the Government Property Sales Fund Twentyone Thousand Five Hundred Pounds, and from Moneys to Credit of the Land Improvement Loan Fund Five Thousand Eight Hundred Pounds, to the Service of the Year ending 30th June, 1923, and to apply out of the Public Account the sum of Three Hundred Thousand Pounds for the purposes of temporary advances to be made by the Colonial Treasurer. [Assented to 11th August, 1922.] MOST GRACIOUS SOVEREIGN, E, Dutiful and Loyal Subjects, Wh, Your Majesty's Motegislative Assembly of vects, Preamble. the Members of the Legislative Assembly of Western Australia in Parliament assembled, towards making good the supply which we have cheerfully granted to Your Majesty in this Session of Parliament, have resolved to grant unto Your Majesty the sum hereinafter mentioned, and do, therefore, most humbly beseech Your Majesty that it may be enacted: And be it enacted by the King's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and the Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows: 1. There shall and may be issued and applied for or to- Issue and applica wards making good the supply granted to His Majesty for tion of £1,763,950 the service of the year from 1st July, 1922, to 30th June, Sums available for purposes voted by the Legislative Assembly. 1923, the Sum of Eight Hundred and Twenty-eight Thousand Two Hundred and Twenty Pounds out of the Consolidated Revenue Fund, and from Moneys to Credit of the General Loan Fund Six Hundred and Eight Thousand Four Hundred and Thirty Pounds; and from Moneys to Credit of the Government Property Sales Fund Twenty-one Thousand Five Hundred Pounds; and from Moneys to credit of the Land Improvement Loan Fund Five Thousand Eight Hundred Pounds, and there shall and may be issued and applied out of the Public Account the sum of Three Hundred Thousand Pounds for the purposes of temporary advances to be made by the Colonial Treasurer; and the Treasurer of Western Australia is hereby authorised and empowered to issue and apply the Moneys authorised to be issued and applied, and to make temporary advances accordingly. 2. The said sums shall be available to satisfy the warrants under the hand of the Governor, under the provisions of the law now in force, in respect of any Services voted by the Legislative Assembly during the financial year ending 30th June, 1923, or issued for such purposes; and all expenditure for the purposes of temporary advances as aforesaid shall be recouped by charging the specific appropriations of Parliament applicable thereto, or by the recovery thereof from the Governments or persons on whose account the advances may have been made. |
