Now, therefore, His Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of the Province of British Columbia, enacts as follows: 1. Notwithstanding the failure of the said Company to obtain a certificate approving its undertaking under the provisions of section 87 of the "Water Clauses Consolidation Act, 1897," and notwithstanding anything contained in said Act, it is hereby declared that the works and undertaking of the Company are hereby approved, and it is hereby enacted that the said Company is and shall be in the same position as if it had applied for such a certificate and had duly obtained the same before proceeding with the construction of its works. 2.
