2. Clause 7 of section 2 of the said Act is hereby amended by striking out the word "March" where it occurs therein and substituting therefor the word "May," and by striking out the word "February" where it occurs therein and by substituting therefor the word "April." 3. Section 12 of the said Act is hereby amended by striking out the word "March" where it occurs therein and by substituting therefor the word "May." 4. Section 26 of the said Act is hereby amended by striking out the word "March" where it occurs therein and by substituting therefor the word "May." 5. Section 54 of said Act is hereby amended by striking out the words "or attending physician" where they occur in the fourth and fifth lines of the first paragraph thereof and inserting after the word "commissioner" in the fourth line thereof the word "or," and by striking out the words "or attending physician" where they occur in the eighth and ninth lines in the same paragraph and inserting after the word "commissioner" in the eighth line thereof the word "or." 5. The said Act is further amended by adding thereto after section 92 thereof the following sections: "EMBALMING DEAD BODIES. "93. No person after the first day of April one thousand nine hundred and thirteen shall embalm and prepare any dead body or hold himself out as practising the art of embalming or practise such art without first applying for and receiving from the commissioner of public health a license authorising him to do so. "(2) All applications for licenses shall be made in writing and shall be accompanied by the examination fee of five dollars, with proof that the applicant is of good moral character and has attained the age of at least twenty-one years: Provided, however, that every person who at the time of the passing of this Act was actually and actively engaged in the practise of the art of embalming in Saskatchewan shall be granted a license as an embalmer without an examination upon the production of such evidence to the commissioner and upon payment of the license fee aforesaid. "94. The commissioner shall provide for examinations for embalmers at least twice yearly; notices of such examinations shall be published at least twice in two daily newspapers in the province. "95. The Lieutenant Governor in Council shall appoint and provide for the remuneration of a board of examiners of persons applying to be so licensed as embalmers under the provisions of this Act. "96. Each applicant for a license shall be examined in the following subjects: anatomy, sanitary science, the care, preservation, embalming, transportation and burial of dead bodies, and shall demonstrate his proficiency as an embalmer in such manner as the examiners may require; if the applicant shall successfully pass the examination then the board of examiners shall authorise a license to issue at the hands of the commissioner of public health allowing him to practise the art of embalming and to handle and bury dead bodies of a contagious or infectious disease. renewal "97.
