[Assented to March 10, 1917.] MOST GRACIOUS SOVEREIGN: W HEREAS it appears by messages from His Honour Richard Stuart Lake, Lieutenant Governor of Saskatchewan, and the estimates accompanying the said messages, that the sums hereinafter mentioned are required to defray certain expenses of the public service of Saskatchewan not otherwise provided for during the financial years ending respectively the thirtieth day of April, one thousand nine hundred and seventeen, and the thirtieth day of April, one thousand nine hundred and eighteen, and for other purposes relating thereto: May it therefore please your Majesty that it may be enacted and be it enacted by the King's Most Excellent Majesty by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of Saskatchewan as follows: 1. This Act may be cited as "The Appropriation Act 1917." 2. From and out of the consolidated fund there may be paid and applied a sum not exceeding in the whole four hundred and sixteen thousand four hundred dollars towards defraying the several charges and expenses of the public service from the first day of May, one thousand nine hundred and sixteen, to the thirtieth day of April, one thousand nine hundred and seventeen, not otherwise provided for and set forth in schedule A to this Act. 3. From and out of the consolidated fund there may be paid and applied a sum not exceeding in the whole seven million six hundred and fifty-two thousand nine hundred and ninety-five dollars towards defraying the several charges and expenses of the public service from the first day of May, one thousand nine hundred and seventeen, to the thirtieth day of April, one thousand nine hundred and eighteen, not otherwise provided for and set forth in schedule B to this Act. 4. From and out of the telephone revenue there may be paid and applied a sum not exceeding in the whole nine hundred and fifty thousand dollars towards defraying the several |
