1913 CHAPTER 1. An Act for granting to His Majesty certain Sums of money for the Public Service of the Fiscal Years ending respectively the Thirty-first day of December, 1912, and the Thirty-first day of December, 1913. Most Gracious Sovereign: (Assented to March 25, 1913.) WHEREAS it appears by Messages from His Honour George Hedley Vicars Bulyea, Lieutenant Governor of the Province of Alberta, and the Estimates accompanying the said Messages, that the sums hereinafter mentioned are required to defray certain expenses of the Public Service of Alberta not otherwise provided for during the financial periods ending respectively the Thirty-first day of December, one thousand nine hundred and twelve, and the Thirty-first day of December, one thousand nine hundred and thirteen, and for other purposes relating thereto: May it therefore please Your Majesty that it may be enacted and be it enacted by the King's Most Excellent Majesty by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of the Province of Alberta as follows: 1. This Act may be cited as "The Appropriation Act, 1913." 2. From and out of the General Revenue Fund there may be paid and applied a sum not exceeding in the whole one hundred and sixty-six thousand three hundred and ninetyone dollars and six cents towards defraying the several charges and expenses of the Public Service from the first day of January to the thirty-first day of December in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and twelve not otherwise provided for and set forth in schedule "A" to this Act. 3. From and out of the General Revenue Fund there may be paid and applied a sum not exceeding in the whole nine million five hundred and fifty-five thousand six hundred and nine dollars and no cents towards defraying the several charges and expenses of the Public Service from the first day of January to the thirty-first day of December in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and thirteen not otherwise provided for and set forth in schedule "B" to this Act. 4. The due application of all moneys expended under this Act shall be accounted for. SCHEDULE A.
