DA VERSIFICAÇÃO INGLEZA.

Os versos inglezes são iambicos, trochaicos, dactylicos ou anapesticos. O pé jambo consta de huma syllaba breve seguida de outra longa. Ex. půrsūe, disdāin. D'elle se formão versos de quatro, seis, oito ou dez syllabas. Ex. de quatro syllabas.
