"And lead us not into temptation."-O Almighty Lord God, unto whom alf evil spirits, and all unruly passions are subject, suffer us not, we pray thee, to be tempted above that we are able, either by the crafts and assaults of the devil, or by our own sinful hearts; but in all our trials and temptations, let thy grace, O Lord, be sufficient for us!

"But deliver us from evil."-From all evil, whether temporal or spiritual, "from the deceits of the world, the flesh, and the devil," from sin, and from danger," from thy wrath, and from everlasting damnation." "Good Lord, deliver us!"

"For thine is the Kingdom, the Power, and the Glory, for ever and ever."-Thine, O Lord, are all things in heaven and in earth; In thee and for thee all things exist" Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory, and honour, and power." Therefore to thee, O blessed and adorable Trinity, be all honour, glory and praise, all might, majesty and dominion, -now, henceforth, and for ever! "Amen." So let it be, O Lord!
