Scarborough and Whitby.-Incorporation of company; power to construct railways and works; to purchase lands compulsorily; to levy tolls; to repeal, alter, and amend Acts; to extinguish rights and privileges, and other purposes.

Scotswood, Newburn, and Wylam.-Incorporation of company for making railways from the North Eastern at Scotswood, through Newburn, to join the North Eastern at Wylam ; power to construct dock at Scotswood; powers to the North Eastern; amendment of Acts, and other purposes.

Sidmouth.-Incorporation of company; power to construct works; compulsory purchase of land: tolls; power to use portion of South Western; arrangements with South Western; amendment of Acts, and other purposes.

Sligo and Ballaghaderreen Junction.-To extend the powers of the company for the taking of lands not already acquired, and the completion of their undertaking; to make provision for a county guarantee on part of the company's capital; to enable Viscount Dillon to increase his subscription to the company's capital and charge his estates in the county of Mayo therewith; and for other purposes.

Somerset and Dorset (Extension to Midland at Bath).-Construction of railway from the Somerset and Dorset at Evercreech to the Midland at Bath, with branch to the Bristol and North Somerset at Radstock; working and traffic and other arrangements with the South Western and Midland; running powers and compulsory facilities over Midland; compulsory facilities over Bristol and North Somerset; purchase and relinquishment of portions of the undertaking of the company of proprietors of the Somersetshire Coal Canal Navigation; arrangements with the Poole and Bournemouth; confirmation of agreements; constitution of separate undertaking; powers to raise additional and separate share and loan capital; provisions as to rights and powers of shareholders; amendment or repeal of Acts.

South Eastern.-Revival and extension of powers as to portion of railway No. 1, authorised by the Act of 1866, and amendment of Acts.

Southern (Additional Powers).-Extension of time for purchase of lands and construction of works; power to landowners to subscribe to the undertaking and charge their lands in the county of Tipperary with the amount of such subscription, and to accept amount of purchase-money in shares of the company; amendment of the Improvement of Land Act, 1864; running powers of the company over the railways of the Great Southern and Western of Ireland, Waterford and Limerick, Kilkenny Junction, and Waterford and Kilkenny, Waterford and Central Ireland and Kilkenny Junction, Limerick and Ennis, and Athenry and Ennis, and of those companies over the railways of the company; traffic arrangements and other agreements between the company and those companies and the Great Western; cancellation and reissue of certain shares of the company; limited guarantee by the county of Tipperary, or portion of that county, with consent of the grand jury; amendment of Acts, and other purposes.

Sutherland and Caithness.-Incorporation of company; construction of railway from Helmsdale, in the county of Sutherland, to Wick, in the county of Caithness, with branches; power to the Highland, to the Sutherland, and to the Duke of Sutherland, to subscribe to the undertaking; working and other arrangements between these companies and the Duke of Sutherland, and mutual running powers and facilities; amendment of Acts.

Tottenham and Hampstead Junction.-Alteration of constitution of Tottenham and Hamp stead Junction; termination of present management; retirement of present board of directors and election of new board; prohibiting Midland and Great Bastern from voting in such election, &c.; to rescind or annul or alter and vary working arrangements between the company and the Midland and Great Eastern; compulsory powers of transfer and sale of undertaking to and purchase by the Midland and Great Eastern, or of amalgamation with these companies; compulsory raising of money by those companies for such transfer, sale, purchase, or amalgamation; to extend and apply provisions of the Tottenham and Hamp stead Junction Act, 1866, to those purposes; penalties on the company and the two companies; compulsory payment by the two companies of debts and liabilities of company; dissolution of company; prohibition or suspension of exercise of present powers of transfer, sale, amalgamation; termination of powers, duties, &c., of receiver; payment of costs of Act: amendment of Acts, and other purposes.

Usk and Towy.-Incorporation of company; railway from Senny Bridge to Llandovery traffic and working arrangements; running powers; amendments of Acts.

Waterford and Central Ireland and the Kilkenny Junction.-Deviations from the authorised Central Ireland railways between Maryborough and Geashill; abandonment of the authe rised Central Ireland between those places and of railway D; extension of time for purchas of lands for and for construction of the remainder of the Central Ireland railways; purchase of additional lands on the Kilkenny Junction; amalgamation of the Waterford and Central and Kilkenny Junction; further money powers to them; arrangements, regulation, and appropriation of their capitals; money powers and income; arrangements between them and the Great Western; amendment of Acts.
