Schedule.

Explosives Act-Amendment.

3. A SUB-INSPECTOR of explosives may, in the performance of the duties assigned to him, exercise all the powers of an inspector of explosives under the principal Act.

4. ANY inspector or sub-inspector may attend any inquest on the bodies of persons whose death may have been caused by the explosion of any explosive, or by any accident in connection with an explosive, and shall be at liberty at any such inquest to examine any witness.

5. SECTION twenty-one of the principal Act is amended by striking out the words "as he may fix from time to time not exceeding those in the Schedule," and by inserting in lieu thereof the words "as are set forth in the Schedule."

6. SO much of the Schedule to the principal Act as prescribes the maximum fees for licenses granted by the Treasurer is repealed, and the Schedule to this Act is substituted therefor.

AN ACT to validate certain Fees purporting to have been charged by the Council of the City of Perth under the Building Acts.

[Assented to, 7th October, 1902.]

E it enacted by the King's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

1. ALL fees heretofore charged and received by the Council of the city of Perth under the Building Act, 1884, or any amendment thereof, or any by-law or regulation thereunder, or purporting to have been charged or received as aforesaid, shall be deemed to have been lawfully charged; and no action shall be brought or continued by any person against the said Council for the return of any fees so charged and received.
