Thanksgiving after Communion.

For Use in Church immediately after
Reception.

ANTIPHON. I sat down under His shadow with great delight, and His fruit was sweet unto my taste. He brought me into the banqueting house, and His banner over me was love.

My soul doth magnify the Lord, &c.
Glory be to the Father, &c.

ANTIPHON. I sat down, &c.

Then say Hymn 29.—

"O King of Beauty, Lord of Love," &c.

LESSED be Thou, O Lord my God, who

hast vouchsafed to feed me with that Bread from heaven, the Flesh of Thy dear Son; grant that, in the strength of this Food, I may walk before Thee in holiness and righteousness all the days of my life, till I come to the Mount of God, the holy hill where Thine Honour and our Rest dwelleth.

LESSED be Thou, O Lord my God, who

tain of living water, the precious Blood of Thy dear Son; grant that this Holy Cup may be an antidote and preservative against all sin and evil, and may keep my soul in health and strength to the end of my days. Amen.

ORD, I offer up unto Thee myself, my soul and body, and all that I am and have; beseeching Thee graciously to receive me for Thy servant, to dwell in Thy house, and to praise Thy name for ever. Amen.

2 Praise Him in His noble acts: praise Him according to His excellent greatness.

3 Praise Him in the sound of the trumpet : praise Him upon the lute and harp.

4 Praise Him in the cymbals and dances : praise Him upon the strings and pipe.

5 Praise Him upon the well-tuned cymbals : praise Him upon the loud cymbals.

6 Let every thing that hath breath: praise the Lord.

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son and to the Holy Ghost;

As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be world without end. Amen.
