MOST GRACIOUS SOVEREIGN: W HEREAS it appears by messages from His Honour the Honourable Henry William Newlands, Lieutenant Governor of Saskatchewan, and the estimates accompanying the said messages, that the sums hereinafter mentioned are required to defray certain expenses of the public service of Saskatchewan not otherwise provided for during the fiscal years ending respectively, the thirtieth day of April, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-seven, and the thirtieth day of April, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-eight, and for other purposes relating thereto. May it therefore please your Majesty, that it may be enacted and be it enacted by the King's Most Excellent Majesty by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of Saskatchewan as follows: 1. This Act may be cited as The Appropriation Act, 1927. 2. From and out of the consolidated fund there may be paid and applied a sum not exceeding in the whole one million and two thousand seven hundred and seventy dollars and forty-one cents towards defraying the several charges and expenses of the public service for the fiscal year ending on the thirtieth day of April, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-seven, not otherwise provided for and set forth in schedule A to this Act. 3. From and out of the consolidated fund there may be paid and applied a sum not exceeding in the whole fifteen million six hundred and thirty-four thousand one hundred and thirty-one dollars towards defraying the several charges and expenses of the public service for the fiscal year ending on the thirtieth day of April, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-eight, not otherwise provided for and set forth in schedule B to this Act. 4. From and out of the telephone revenue there may be paid and applied a sum not exceeding in the whole two million two hundred and fifty thousand dollars towards defraying the several charges and expenses of the public service for the fiscal year ending on the thirtieth day of April, one thousand nine hundred and twentyeight, not otherwise provided for and set forth in schedule C to this Act. 5.
