4. Subsection (2) of section 20 is amended by substituting the word "and" for "or" in the fourth line.

5. The following section is inserted after section 23:

"23a. (1) Any land in respect of which certificate of dispose of land title has issued in favour of His Majesty may be sold, leased or otherwise disposed of under the authority of the minister and under the hand of the minister or his deputy.

"(2) Such land shall, whenever practicable, be sold, leased or disposed of by tender or public auction.

"(3) The proceeds of all such sales, leases or dispositions shall form part of the consolidated fund."

6. Form C, form F and form G are repealed and form C, form F and form G in the schedule to this Act are respectively substituted therefor.

7. This Act shall come into force on the first day of May, 1927.

CHAPTER 37

An Act to amend The School Grants Act, 1920

[Assented to March 1, 1927.]

IS Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of Saskatchewan, enacts

as follows:

1. Section 3 of The School Grants Act, 1920, is amended by adding to paragraph 3 thereof the following provisos:

"Provided that the grant under this paragraph shall not be payable for a school in which Grade VIII is enrolled if the grant is payable for two or more high school rooms;

"Provided further that the special grant of $3 per day as well as the regular grant shall not be payable for more than 200 days in any year ending on the thirty-first day of December."

2. This Act shall come into force on the first day of July, 1927.

CHAPTER 38

An Act to amend The Agricultural Aids Act.

[Assented to February 7, 1927.]

IS Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of
the Legislative Assembly of Saskatchewan, enacts

as follows:

1. The Agricultural Aids Act is amended in the manner Rev. Stat. hereinafter set forth.

2. Section 2 is amended by striking out the first five Section 2 lines and substituting the following:

"2. The Lieutenant Governor in Council may authorise the Provincial Treasurer to raise by way of loan upon the credit of the province such sum or sums of money, not to exceed in the whole at any one time two million dollars, for all or any of the following purposes as approved by the Legislature, namely:".

3. Section 3 is amended by striking out the words "for Section 3 any term or terms not exceeding ten years" in the third and fourth lines and substituting therefor the words "for such term and".

4. Section 4 is amended by striking out all the words Section 4 after "Council" in the fourth line.

CHAPTER 39

An Act to amend The Stray Animals Act.

[Assented to March 3, 1927.]

HIS Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of

the Legislative Assembly of Saskatchewan, enacts

as follows:

1. The Stray Animals Act is amended in the manner hereinafter set forth.

2. Clause (b) of Section 15 is amended by striking out the word "fifteenth" in the second line and substituting the word "first."

3.-(1) Section 36 is amended by adding immediately after clause (g) the following:

"(h) omits or neglects to comply with the provisions of sections 26 and 27, or in sending notices provided for in those sections neglects to give a description of the impounded animals which would enable the owner to identify them; or."

(2) The said section is further amended by renumbering clause (h) as (i).

4. This Act shall come into force on the first day of May, 1927.
