IS MAJESTY, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of the Province of British Columbia, enacts as follows:

1. This Act may be cited as the "Trustee Act Amendment Act, Short title. 1913."

2. Chapter 232 of the "Revised Statutes of British Columbia, Amends R.S.B.C. 1911," being the " Trustee Act," is hereby amended by adding thereto the following as section 92:

"92. (1.) Every trustee (including a judicial trustee) shall, if so Trustee to pass accounts annually. required by notice served on him at the instance of any person beneficially interested in the property covered by the trust, pass his accounts annually within one month from the anniversary of his appointment, and such accounts shall be passed and verified in the same manner as is by the Rules of Court' directed as to receivers' accounts.

"(2.) In case of any trustee failing to pass any such account as aforesaid, or in case his accounts are incomplete or inaccurate, he may be required to attend before a Judge of the Supreme or County Court at Chambers to show cause why such account has not been passed, or any proper proceeding in connection therewith taken; and thereupon such directions as shall be proper may be given at Chambers or by adjournment into Court, including the removal of any trustee and appointment of another, and payment of costs."

An Act to amend the "British Columbia University Act." R.S.B.C. 1911. c. 234.

IS MAJESTY, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of the Province of British Columbia, enacts as follows:

1. This Act may be cited as the "British Columbia University Short title. Act Amendment Act, 1913."

2. Section 107 of the "British Columbia University Act," being Amends s. 107. chapter 234 of the "Revised Statutes of British Columbia, 1911,"

is hereby amended by striking out the word "six" in the third line

thereof, and by substituting therefor the word "nine."

3. Section 3 of said chapter 234 is hereby repealed, and the follow- Re-enacts s. 3. ing is substituted therefor :

"3. The said corporation may acquire, by gift, purchase, or any other manner, and hold, for the purposes of the University, any and all property, real and personal, of every nature and kind whatsoever; and, subject to the approval of the Lieutenant-Governor in Council and to the terms of any grant, conveyance, gift, devise, or bequest of any property to the University, shall have power to mortgage, sell, transfer, lease for not more than ninety-nine years, or otherwise dispose of all its property, real or personal, and to make and execute all necessary and proper conveyances, transfers, or leases for carrying the same into effect."

An Act to amend the "British Columbia University Site 1911. c. 58.
Act, 1911."

IS MAJESTY, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of the Province of British Columbia, enacts as follows:

1. This Act may be cited as the "British Columbia University Short title. Site Act Amendment Act, 1913."

sec. (a).

2. Subsection (a) of section 2 of chapter 53 of the Statutes of Amends s. 2, sub1911 is hereby amended by striking out all the words in the said subsection after the word "District" in the first line thereof.

3. Subsections (c) and (d) of said section 2 are hereby repealed, and the following is substituted therefor:

"(c.) Lot 3,045A, being a portion of the Marine Drive, which is Marine Drive. hereby dedicated as a public highway for ever."

4. Section 3 of said chapter 53 is hereby amended by striking out Amends s. 3. all the words after the word "tramway" in the fifth line thereof, and substituting therefor the following: "and no works of any nature or kind shall be constructed or maintained upon any of the lands mentioned in section 2 hereof."

5. Section 4 of said chapter 53 is hereby repealed.

Repeals s. 4.
