Any male or female, being a British subject of the full age of Qualifications twenty-one years, and being the assessed owner of real property within the municipality of the assessed value of not less than one hundred dollars according to the last revised Provincial assessment roll, or being a householder or licence-holder for at least six months previous to such election, and being for a term of not less than six months resident within the municipality, who shall have filed with the Returning Officer a declaration to that effect at any time before the closing of the voters' list, shall be entitled to vote for any person who is duly nominated for Mayor or Alderman at such first election.

11. The qualifications for Mayor and for an Alderman at such election shall be as provided for Mayor and Alderman respectively in sections 16 and 17 of the "Municipal Act," excepting, however, that the assessment roll referred to in said sections shall mean the last revised Provincial assessment roll.

12. It shall be the duty of the Returning Officer forthwith after the issue of said letters patent to make up a list of the voters qualified as aforesaid, and to have the same accessible to all ratepayers, not later than seven days after the date of said letters patent, and he shall receive and consider applications for enrolment or for amendment of the voters' list till twelve o'clock noon of the Saturday before the day for nominations as aforesaid, when he shall declare the list closed, and the voters' list so prepared shall be the voters' list for the City of Port Moody for the remainder of the year.

13. The Mayor and Aldermen so elected shall be deemed to be the Mayor and Aldermen of the City of Port Moody under the Municipal Act," and shall hold office until their successors, or a majority of them, are sworn in; subject, however, to the provisions of the "Municipal Act" in regard to death, resignation, removal from office, and disqualification.

14. The first meeting of the Council so elected shall be held on the first Monday after such election at two o'clock in the afternoon at Bennett's Hall, in the City of Port Moody, and the Mayor and each Alderman shall make the declaration provided by the "Municipal Act" before taking his seat as such Mayor or Alderman.

15. The last revised Provincial assessment roll, so far as ment roll to apply. applicable to the City of Port Moody, shall be the assessment roll of the said municipality until completion of a new revised assessment roll under the provisions of the "Municipal Act."

16. The provisions of this Act regarding holding office and election of Mayor and Aldermen shall apply so far as possible to the members of the first Board of School Trustees, and the Returning Officer herein before mentioned shall call for and order an election for school trustees in the same manner as has been provided for the election of the Mayor, and the new Board of School Trustees so elected shall hold their first meeting on the first Monday succeeding the date fixed for taking the poll at such election.

17. The Council of the City of Port Moody shall pay out of the ordinary revenue of the municipality all costs, charges, and expenses incurred in and about the incorporation of the municipality, including the expenses of obtaining this Act.

18. All the provisions of the "Municipal Act," the "Municipal Application of Municipal Acts. Elections Act," and the "Municipalities Incorporation Act," and amending Acts, shall apply to the City of Port Moody, except where the provisions of said Acts are repugnant to the provisions of this Act.

An Act to readjust the Boundary between the Corporation of the Township of Richmond and the Corporation of Point Grey.

HEREAS it has been considered advisable to readjust the Preamble. boundary between the Corporation of the Township of Rich

mond and the Corporation of Point Grey:

And whereas a petition has been presented by the two munici palities asking that the said boundary-line be as hereinafter set out: And whereas it is expedient to grant the prayer of the petitioners: Therefore, His Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of the Province of British Columbia, enacts as follows:

1. This Act may be cited as the "Richmond, Point Grey Boundary Short title. Readjustment Act, 1913."

2. The boundary between the Corporation of the Township of Boundary fixed. Richmond and the Corporation of Point Grey shall hereafter be as follows: Commencing at the point where the boundary-line between the Corporation of Point Grey and the Corporation of the District of South Vancouver produced southerly would intersect the centre line of the North Arm of the Fraser River; thence westerly along said centre line and along the centre line of the North Channel of Navigation of the North Fork of said North Arm of the Fraser River to the point where said centre line intersects the present westerly boundary of the said Corporation of the Township of Richmond.

3. The islands in the said North Arm of the Fraser River known Islands. respectively as "Ione" or "McMillan's" Island, "Christopher
