thee, thy mercy and grace, forgiving us all our sins; and enable us to approach thee in humility, faith, and love. Remember not our offences either against thee or against each other. We would remember them with shame, and renounce them with our whole heart. forasmuch as we can make no satisfaction for those which are past, we would also glorify our blessed Redeemer, by casting ourselves in lowliness of mind on his merits and mediation alone. Accept, O Lord, his one offering of Himself on our behalf, and acquit us of all our sins, through faith in his sacrifice and atonement. O Lord, we have no power in ourselves to help our

selves; be pleased therefore to endue us with power from on high to mortify all unholy inclinations and habits; and to walk before thee in continual watchfulness and Christian duty. And though all our righteousness is as nothing in thy sight, may we at least no more grieve thy Holy Spirit by wilful negligence or transgressions, through Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.
