General Information.

Students are enrolled by the Dean during the first week of each Session. All students whether they have paid the Composition Fee or hold Entrance Scholarships or not, must enrol during that period. In case of a student being unable to do so, application in writing must be made to the Dean for admission, stating the cause of the delay.

Women students should after being enrolled by the Dean, see the Tutor for Women Students.

No student will be admitted to any class until the fees are paid.

Students on entering are required to sign a form of declaration stating that they will conform to the rules and regulations of the University then in force, or which may from time to time be adopted.

In order to obtain a certificate of attendance upon lectures or practical classes, the student must have attended at least 75 per cent. of the meetings of the class, and also the class examinations. The prescribed period for registration of attendance is five minutes from the time of beginning of classes lasting less than one hour, and ten minutes from the time of beginning of classes lasting for one hour or more. Students entering after the period prescribed for registration are treated as absent. Illness or other unavoidable cause of absence cannot be taken into account unless a satisfactory explanation is given.

Students are required to attend the special tutorial classes in Medicine, in Surgery, and in Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Examination schedules will be signed by the Dean only on the production of evidence that the above conditions have been fulfilled.
